the future

I used to ask God to show me what I will be doing in the future.

I don't ask that anymore...

I came to realize that if I had known some of the things I would be going through years before I went through them, it would have scared the fool out of me.

What I realized is that God prepared and equipped me along the way to handle things that I never would have dreamed I could even survive.

Of course, it was not so much me handling it as learning to trust and rely on His strength and His wisdom.

Now I just ask God to let me know what my next step is to be.

Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
