the only way for an atheist to be intellectually honest is for them to say "whether or not God exists, i choose not to believe in Him"
an atheist cannot truthfully say "there is no God" as it is impossible for them to prove that God does not exist...
in order to prove that God does not exist, a person would have to know everything
as long as it is possible that God exists in the realm of what the atheist does not know, then the best they can be is agnostic...
